About First Horizon

First Horizon operates as the holding company behind First Horizon Bank, delivering a wide array of financial services to individuals, companies, other financial institutions, and government entities. It is recognized for combining everyday banking with more specialized offerings such as underwriting fixed-income securities, trading loans and derivatives, and providing advisory support to clients.

The company runs through three main divisions: Regional Banking, Specialty Banking, and Corporate. Its services extend well beyond deposits and loans to include mortgage banking, title insurance and closing services, brokerage, correspondent banking, nationwide check clearing, trust administration, equipment financing, and investment advice. First Horizon also distributes mutual funds, insurance products, and credit cards, serving customers through roughly 500 First Horizon Bank branches spread across 22 states and around 400 FHN Financial centers located in 12 states.

The company traces its founding to 1864 and is headquartered in Memphis, Tennessee. It previously operated under the name First Horizon National Corporation before adopting its current name in November 2020. First Horizon is listed on the NYSE under the ticker FHN.
