Gekko Fair Value — A single estimate of what a stock is worth
One number per stock, produced by Gekko's proprietary valuation model from what the business earns and how the market prices companies with its profile — recalculated after every close, and shown beside the GekkoIndex everywhere.

The estimate, the gap to the price, and whether the shares read undervalued, about fair value or overvalued.
What Gekko Fair Value shows
The gap, not just the number
What matters is how far the last close sits above or below the estimate, and which way that gap is moving. A stock more than 5% below reads undervalued on Gekko's estimate, more than 5% above overvalued, and in between about fair value.
Built on fundamentals
Anchored in what the company reports, not in sentiment or price momentum, and applied the same way to every US stock Gekko covers — so a discount on one name means the same thing on another.
A 12-month trend
The estimate is stored every trading day, so you can see whether a discount is opening or closing over the past year, plotted against the month-end share price.

How it appears on the free stock pages
Each stock page states the verdict in one sentence, shows the estimate and the gap on a band from 50% below to 50% above, and plots the 12-month history once three month-end points exist. "Biggest fair value discounts" is one of the daily lists on the stocks hub. The methodology page explains what the estimate measures.
Questions about Gekko Fair Value
Is Gekko Fair Value a price target?
No. It is an estimate of underlying value for research, not a prediction of where the price will go or a recommendation. Analyst price targets are shown separately, in the Forecast section of each stock page.
Which stocks have a Fair Value?
Stocks with the fundamentals the model needs. Funds and stocks without them simply show none, rather than a made-up figure.
How is it calculated?
The model and its weightings are Gekko's own and are not published. What is public is what it measures — the company's fundamentals against how the market prices comparable businesses — and how often it updates.
