Insider trading tracker

Insider trading tracker: an insider buying scanner, on the chart and in a feed

A CEO, CFO or 10% owner buying their own company's stock with their own money is the one trade nobody makes by accident. Gekko reads the Form 4 filings, lists the open-market purchases, and plots each one on the price chart.

Gekko insider trading tracker listing recent open-market purchases with ticker, insider, role, shares, price, value and filing date

Who bought, how much, at what price, and when the filing went public — with the GekkoIndex and Fair Value beside each row.

What the insider buying scanner shows

Open-market purchases

Insiders receive stock in many ways — grants, options, plans. The tracker focuses on purchases made on the open market with the insider's own money, which is the signal worth reading.

Dated to the filing

Each purchase is shown on the day the Form 4 became public, which is when anyone outside the company could have seen it, and plotted on the chart at that date.

Context on every row

The insider's role, the number of shares, the price paid and the total value, with the stock's GekkoIndex reading and Fair Value gap alongside, so a purchase can be read against the smart money picture.

How it appears on the free stock pages

Every stock page has an insider trading card: the count and value of open-market purchases in the last 90 days, the latest filings, and the insider item of the swing-trade checklist. "Insider buying" — net purchases over 90 days — is one of the daily lists on the stocks hub.

Questions about the insider trading tracker

Does the tracker show insider sales?

The feed is built around open-market purchases; sales are shown where the filings carry them and are never inferred. A page that shows no sales is not claiming there were none.

What is a Form 4?

The filing company insiders — officers, directors and holders of more than 10% — must make with the SEC within two business days of a transaction in their company's stock. It is public record.

Is insider buying a buy signal?

It is public data that Gekko describes and plots. The checklist on each stock page counts it alongside other signals; Gekko does not make buy or sell recommendations.
