GekkoIndex gauge and the zone performance table showing what followed past readings in each zone

The gauge, the current zone, and what followed past readings — 5, 10, 20 and 50 trading days out.

What the GekkoIndex shows

Five zones

Selling (under 33), Distribution (33–45), Neutral (45–60), Accumulation (60–70) and Buying (70 and up). The zones are the public face of the index; how the score itself is built is Gekko's own and is not published.

A track record, per stock

For each zone, the average share-price change over the 5, 10, 20 and 50 trading days that followed each daily reading — averages of what happened, not forecasts, shown only once they rest on enough readings.

Questions about the GekkoIndex™

How often does the GekkoIndex update?

It is recalculated after every US market close for roughly 5,500 liquid US stocks and ETFs, and refreshed through the trading day inside Gekko.

Is a Buying-zone reading a buy signal?

No. It describes the data — an estimate that institutional buying has been heavy recently — and the zone track record shows what followed past readings on that stock. Gekko does not make buy or sell recommendations.

How is the score calculated?

The inputs, weightings and thresholds are Gekko's own and are not published. What is public is what the score measures, the five zones, and the record of what followed each reading.
