About Hess Midstream

Hess Midstream owns and runs energy infrastructure that sits in the middle of the oil and gas value chain, handling the gathering, processing, storage, and export of natural gas, natural gas liquids, and crude oil. It is best known for the pipeline networks and processing plants that move and treat these products after they leave the wellhead and before they reach end markets.

The company splits its work into three areas. Its gathering operations collect and compress natural gas, move crude oil, and dispose of produced water through several hundred miles of pipeline. Its processing and storage operations include a gas processing and fractionation plant in North Dakota, a partial stake in a separate gas processing facility nearby, and a propane storage terminal in Minnesota with rail and truck loading capability. Its terminaling and export operations cover rail and pipeline facilities used to move crude oil, including a rail car fleet and a network known as the Johnson's Corner Header System.

Hess Midstream was founded in 2014 and is headquartered in Houston, Texas. Its shares are listed on the NYSE under the ticker HESM.
