About Lennar
Lennar builds and sells homes across the United States, working through its main Lennar brand along with a number of subsidiaries. It is best known for constructing single-family houses, both attached and detached, designed for buyers ranging from first-time purchasers to those looking to move up, active adult communities, and luxury buyers. Beyond home construction, it also buys, prepares, and sells land intended for residential development.
The company organizes its work into regional homebuilding divisions covering the East, Central, Texas, and West, alongside separate units for Financial Services, Multifamily development, and other activities grouped under Lennar Other. Its Financial Services arm handles mortgage lending, title insurance, and closing support for homebuyers and other clients, while also originating and selling commercial mortgage loans that have been packaged into securities. The Multifamily segment builds, develops, and manages rental housing, and the company also takes part in fund investment activities.
Lennar was founded in 1954 and is headquartered in Miami, Florida. Its shares are listed on the NYSE under the ticker LEN.
