About InnovAge

InnovAge coordinates medical care and related support for older adults who wish to remain in their own homes rather than move into institutional settings. Working through the Program of All-Inclusive Care for the Elderly framework, the company brings together a wide mix of services, including in-home visits for skilled and personal care, and center-based offerings such as primary care, physical and occupational therapy, speech therapy, dental and mental health treatment, meals, and group activities. It also arranges transportation for participants traveling to its centers or to outside medical appointments, along with ongoing care management.

The company organizes its operations around participants it serves directly, rather than through separate product lines, and runs PACE centers across several states, including Colorado, California, New Mexico, Pennsylvania, Florida, and Virginia, all within the United States.

InnovAge is headquartered in Denver, Colorado, and traces its founding back to 1989, having previously operated under the name TCO Group Holdings before adopting its current name in January 2021. Its shares are listed on the NASDAQ under the ticker INNV.

What they said
InnovAge reported Q2 2026 results with revenue of $239.7 million, center-level contribution margin of $52.8 million, Adjusted EBITDA of $22.2 million, and net income of $11.8 million. H1 2026 Adjusted EBITDA was $39.8 million, surpassing the full-year 2025 Adjusted EBITDA of $34.5 million, and the company achieved an adjusted EBITDA margin of 9.2% in Q2—the first time it hit its intermediate-term target of 8-9%. Management attributes the margin strength to disciplined execution across clinical, operational, and financial initiatives and a rebuilt foundation after prior challenges. Revenues grew 14.7% year-over-year to $239.7 million driven by more member months and higher capitation rates, with census of about 8,010 participants across 20 centers as of 12/31/2025. The company highlighted ongoing initiatives around Medicaid redeterminations, enrollment processing, and a shift to in-house pharmacy to improve cost structure, though there are near-term headwinds including seasonality in enrollment (Q3 is typically softer) and a tougher flu season. In the Q&A, management and investors discussed margin progression for the back half, the impact of rate changes (including v28) and frailty adjustments, enrollment dynamics, and strategies to improve patient experience and reduce voluntary disenrollment. The overall sentiment reflects cautious optimism, supported by solid first-half performance and progress in addressing regulatory and enrollment-related challenges, but with near-term seasonality and program changes creating some uncertainty.
Guidance
Guidance highlights: management notes that they achieved the 8-9% Adjusted EBITDA margin target in Q2 for the first time and intends to maintain progress toward that target over the two- to four-year horizon. They expect Q3 to be softer due to open enrollment timing and the bad flu season, followed by a normalization in Q4. They are actively monitoring Medicaid redeterminations and rate changes (v28), and they have recalibrated the forecast through a two-quarter reforecast to incorporate latest thinking. No specific full-year numeric guidance was issued beyond reaffirming the margin-target trajectory and the ongoing financial and operational initiatives.
Risks flagged
Key risks discussed include: (1) enrollment volatility related to Medicaid redeterminations and open enrollment timing, (2) seasonality effects (Q3 softness) and the impact of a severe flu season, (3) changes in Medicaid and Medicare capitation rates and rate adjustments (v28) and the associated frailty scoring adjustments, (4) regulatory actions and federal budget changes, (5) delays or variability in enrollment processing by states, and (6) ongoing investment requirements to sustain a regulated, investment-intensive care model. The forward-looking statements are subject to risks and uncertainties.
