Bank of America Securities reaffirmed a Sell rating with an $18.00 price target, while RBC Capital cut its target to $17 from $19, keeping a Sector Perform, Speculative Risk rating. Regenxbio and the University of Pennsylvania also settled a long-running gene-therapy patent dispute tied to Elevidys, dismissed with prejudice.

Sarepta Therapeutics develops genetic medicines for rare diseases, working with RNA-targeted therapeutics and gene therapies. It is known for treating Duchenne muscular dystrophy, with two approved products already on the market: EXONDYS 51 for patients whose dystrophin gene mutations respond to exon 51 skipping, and VYONDYS 53 for those with exon 53 skipping mutations.
Beyond these approved therapies, the company is advancing a pipeline that includes AMONDYS 45, built on exon-skipping chemistry targeting exon 45, and SRP-5051, a peptide-conjugated compound aimed at exon 51 of dystrophin pre-mRNA. It is also pursuing gene therapy candidates SRP-9001 for Duchenne muscular dystrophy and SRP-9003 for limb-girdle muscular dystrophies. This work is carried out partly through partnerships with outside institutions, among them F. Hoffman-La Roche, Nationwide Children's Hospital, Lysogene, Duke University, Genethon and StrideBio.
Sarepta Therapeutics was founded in 1980 and is headquartered in Cambridge, Massachusetts. Its shares are listed on the NASDAQ under the ticker SRPT.
