About Herbalife

Herbalife makes and markets nutrition products, with offerings grouped around weight management, targeted dietary supplements, outer personal care, and energy and sports nutrition. Its lineup includes meal replacement shakes, powdered drink mixes, weight-loss aids and snacks, supplements built from herbs, vitamins and minerals, skin and hair care items, and energy products such as N-R-G tea. The business operates across North America, Mexico, Central and South America, Europe, the Middle East, Africa, China and the wider Asia Pacific region.

Beyond its products, the company supplies the materials that support its sales network, including starter kits, promotional tools and training content. Rather than selling mainly through its own stores, it reaches customers chiefly through independent service providers and sales representatives, supplemented by some company-run retail outlets.

The business traces back to a 1980 founding in Los Angeles, California, and operated as Herbalife Ltd. before adopting the Herbalife Nutrition name in April 2018. Its shares are listed on the NYSE under the ticker HLF.
