What they said
Albany International reported Q4 2025 total sales of $321.2 million, up 12% year-over-year, driven by higher Engineered Composites sales but offset by softer Machine Clothing demand, particularly in China. Adjusted EBITDA improved to $57.3 million (17.8% of sales) versus $50 million (17.4%) in the prior year. The company is conducting a strategic review of its Salt Lake City facility with Guggenheim as advisor. Machine Clothing sales declined mid-single digits due to paper overcapacity in Asia.
Guidance
An equipment failure at a North American facility in January will negatively impact Q1 results. The company expects to recover lost production through higher output and manufacturing at other sites, with planned equipment additions to de-risk operations.
