NiSource supplies natural gas and electricity as a regulated utility within the United States. Its electricity comes from a mix of sources, including steam coal stations, a combined cycle gas turbine, natural gas generating units, hydro plants, wind installations, and solar facilities located across several Indiana counties. It was previously called NIPSCO Industries, Inc. before adopting the NiSource name in 1999.
