Frontline transports oil and refined petroleum products across global sea routes, owning and running a fleet of tankers that includes very large crude carriers, Suezmax vessels, and LR2/Aframax ships. It is recognized for operating this mixed fleet, which as of the end of 2025 numbered 80 vessels in total, split between 41 VLCCs, 21 Suezmax tankers, and 18 LR2/Aframax tankers.
Beyond running its own vessels, Frontline also takes part in chartering ships out, and buying and selling tankers as part of its fleet management. Its business centers on moving crude oil and product cargoes for customers who need seaborne transport on a global scale.
Frontline was established in 1985 and operates out of Limassol, Cyprus. Its shares trade on the NYSE under the ticker FRO.
