What they said
Mohawk reported Q4 net sales of $2.7 billion, up 2.4% as reported but down 3.3% on constant basis. Full year sales were flat at $10.8 billion with adjusted EPS declining 7.5% to $8.96 due to weak housing turnover and sluggish new construction. The company generated $620 million in free cash flow and repurchased $149 million in stock. Commercial demand remained stable while residential markets faced continued pressure from affordability challenges and economic uncertainty.
Guidance
Management expects lower interest rates and government actions to benefit housing turnover in 2026. They anticipate improved conditions as consumer confidence recovers from record savings levels and easing inflation in both US and European markets.
