Last earnings call, Feb 12, 2026 AI summary

What they said
Liberty Broadband Corporation's 2025 year-end earnings call highlighted record revenue (> $1B) and record adjusted OIBDA (> $400M). Management emphasized execution on connectivity across Alaska, growth in consumer wireless, benefits from a prior strong sales cycle, completion of a fully subscribed rights offering raising ~$300M, and use of proceeds for corporate purposes and potential M&A. They discussed operational disruptions: two fiber breaks (Dutch Harbor repaired quickly; Dearing repair expected in summer with low single-digit million repair costs) and Typhoon Helong-related outages that were restored within four months with minimal ongoing impact. Financials: year revenue up ~3%, adjusted OIBDA up 12% (record), consolidated cash ~$429M, total debt ~$1B, net leverage 2.3x (credit-agreement definition) and consolidated net leverage 1.6x; $377M undrawn capacity. Management refined subscriber metric definitions to exclude inactive prepaid/postpaid and cable modem customers. They expect a "stable" 2026, decline of video expenses (exit of video business) removing a source of both revenue and programming costs; CapEx cadence peaks in Q2/Q3 with largest element in wireless (rural) to finish first phase Alaska commitments and urban wired network expansions for 5G and DOCSIS 4.0 implementation.
Guidance
Management described expectations of a "stable year for 2026" and said they cannot provide precise margin guidance. They expect no video programming expenses in 2026 and mentioned CapEx cadence peaking in Q2/Q3, with largest CapEx in rural wireless and urban wired network upgrades (5G and DOCSIS 4.0). Repair costs from fiber breaks expected to be in the low single-digit million range; Dearing service restoration expected in summer. (Guidance not presented as precise numerical forecasts.)
Risks flagged
Operational risks: undersea/fiber breaks causing repair costs and temporary revenue overhang; weather-related disruptions (typhoon) though restored. Leverage: total debt ~$1B with net leverage 2.3x (credit-agreement definition). Execution risks related to network construction and CapEx rollout for 5G/DOCSIS 4.0 and rural wireless commitments. No new legal/regulatory risk items were mentioned beyond standard forward-looking disclaimers.
