Valmont Industries makes engineered structures and equipment used in infrastructure and farming, with a presence spanning the United States, Australia, Brazil, Denmark and other markets. It is perhaps best recognized for its metal and concrete poles and towers that support lighting, traffic systems, wireless networks and power transmission, as well as for its Valley-branded irrigation equipment used in large-scale farming operations.
The company works through two main divisions. Its infrastructure arm builds poles, towers and structural components from steel, aluminum, wood and composite materials, along with access systems, highway safety products and coatings such as galvanizing and powder finishing that protect metal parts from wear. Its agriculture arm produces mechanical irrigation systems, related parts and support services, plus tubular products for industrial use. Customers include municipalities, government bodies, lighting manufacturers, construction firms, telecom and utility companies, farming operations and manufacturers more broadly.
