RadNet provides outpatient diagnostic imaging services throughout the United States. Its offerings cover magnetic resonance imaging, computed tomography, positron emission tomography, nuclear medicine, mammography, ultrasound, general diagnostic radiology, and a range of specialized procedures for patients referred for scans and screenings.
Alongside direct imaging services, RadNet builds and sells computerized systems used in diagnostic imaging, including picture archiving communication systems and related support. The company also develops artificial intelligence tools meant to assist radiologists in reading scans, with applications in mammography as well as lung and prostate cancer detection. Its imaging centers are owned and operated across several states, including Arizona, California, Delaware, Florida, Maryland, New Jersey, and New York.
RadNet was founded in 1981 and is headquartered in Los Angeles, California. Its shares are listed on the NASDAQ under the ticker RDNT.
